Press ReleaseNETELLER Previews a Winning Summer at GIGSE 2006
15 May 2006 - NETELLER Plc (LSE: NLR), a leading online money transfer service provider, today previews its summer activities and its participation and sponsorship of GIGSE 2006 – the eighth annual Global Interactive Gaming Summit & Expo held at The Palais des Congres, Montreal, Canada between May 16th-18th. Throughout the conference, NETELLER will demonstrate its trusted industry leadership position, global reach, and low-risk, “no-limits” business model.
Industry Leader and GIGSE Fixture
Having publicly supported the industry since 1999, NETELLER is once again sponsoring the GIGSE Official Internet Café, which has become an integral part of the environment. Located at stand 409, attendees are welcome to use the Café’s facilities for free to meet and greet their friends and colleagues or simply to refresh themselves. While there they can also securely check their email, browse the internet and of course they can transfer funds via their NETELLER e-wallets to any of NETELLER’s 3,400 online merchants.
No Limits: New Products to Increase Money Transfer Velocity and Volume
At the conference NETELLER will be showcasing recent and significant upcoming product offerings. In the Café, staff will show the Company’s newly announced services for Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Asia. In private, invite-only sessions, NETELLER will be previewing this summer’s important new merchant toolset. The release will include capabilities that maximize transfer sizes while cutting the time it takes customers to transfer money to merchants and retailers.
Ron Martin, President & CEO of NETELLER commented: “As the industry’s leading money transfer service provider we are delighted to offer our continued support to this fantastic event. We hope that all attendees take advantage of the Café and internet facilities during the week and at the same time take in the latest developments to NETELLER’s service.”
Trusted Partner: Combating Fraud Roundtable
A recent survey of NETELLER’s customers found that, above anything else, 88% of them value NETELLER’s ability to provide a secure, trusted and private service – well above that of any other provider on the market. With that in mind Andy Scott, NETELLER’s Chief Security Officer will be a key speaker at the Combating Fraud Roundtable, taking place in Hall 150, payment track at 10:15, Thursday May 18th. Andy has spent the past 16 years developing security infrastructure in the information technology and communications industry. Ron Martin, continued: “I’m looking forward to hearing Andy speak at the Combating Fraud Roundtable. It is so important for players in both the gaming and financial services industries to collaborate on this issue, so we are pleased to have this opportunity to share our experience and expertise.”
